David recorded Speak My Mind, an album of 12 self-written songs, in 2003. Inspired by the melodic beauty of David Mead’s Mine and Yours, Morrison embarked on a burst of songwriting in 2002. Drawing together a collection of fine musicians – Hazel Morrison on drums and percussion; Paul Galvin on bass; strings from members of the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra – the album was mastered in New York’s Sterling Sound  studios. “I’ll never forget sitting down for a cold beer and dinner at midnight at Cafe Figaro on the corner of Bleecker and McDougal after finishing that album. What a high.” Listen to some edited MP3s from the album by clicking on the PLAY icon. You can buy it on iTunes.
